    Product Description

6 bottles of wine to savour…

Grand Cru Brut Nature NV, Benoit Lahaye, Reims, France
A delicious Champagne from an artisan ‘Grower-Champagne Producer’ located in Montagne de Reims. 90% Pinot Noir and 10 % Chardonnay. Complex flavour profile with an oxidative, nutty, biscuity, brioche like character, spicy red fruits and great natural acidity.

Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru ‘Les Combettes’ 2010, Etienne Sauzet, Burgundy, France
An outstanding expression of white Burgundy produced by one of Puligny’s finest domains. Light, buttery, well-rounded, with great length on the palate.  A wine you will not forget easily.

Pessac-Léognan Blanc 2014, Château Haut Smith-Lafitte, Bordeaux, France
Dating back to 1365, Château Smith Haut Lafitte maintains a reputation that precedes them.
90% Sauvignon Blanc and 5% each of Sémillon and Sauvignon Gris. Chablis-like chalky/oyster shell minerality. Ripe, citrus and stone fruit, white flowers, camomille, long creamy finish.

Condrieu Les Chailles de l’Enfer 2016, Domaine Georges Vernay, Rhône, France
Georges Vernay is a leading producer in Condrieu.
100% viognier hand-picked from 50 year old vines. A succulent wine, dried apricots and spicy characters on the palate with a touch of fine toasty oak.

Volnay 1er Cru ‘Taillepeids’ 2011, Domaine Roblet-Monnot, Burgundy, France
Only 150 cases are made of Roblet-Monnots Taillepieds. A classic volnay produced biodynamically. Rich and textured but with considerable delicacy. Dark fruit, a hint of black cherries, perfumed floral notes and an earthy gamey character is balanced by sweet brown spices.

Vin de Constance 2014, Klein Constantia, Constantia, SA  (50cl)
The winemaker, Matthew Day, declared 2014 as the vintage of the decade. With over 300 years of history, Vin de Constance is arguably the most famous south African wine.
The 2014 was aged in a combination of French and Hungarian oak as well as French Acacia. It is liquid gold in the glass. Intense aromas of mandarin, ginger and fresh nutmeg. Luscious sweetness perfectly balanced by persistent acidity.
