A great opportunity to join us and work within both of our restaurants in Port Isaac. We believe in growing our team from within and nurturing talent. Our commis chefs have the chance to gain a wide range of experience, whilst refining their skills and developing as a chef.

Minimum experience required: 2 years

Chef De Parties support the smooth running of our kitchens and uphold the systems in place to ensure our standards are met. Chef de Parties will have the opportunity to grow within the business and experience our approach to seafood preparation as well as train towards acquiring the necessary management skills to progress in our industry.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

  • A highly positive attitude towards achieving daily targets and facing challenges that arise
  • A great team work ethic built around team first principles and good communication
  • At least 3 years experience working in different sections of a kitchen
  • A high level of attention to detail and standard of preparation
  • Good understanding and execution of ingredient preparation, seasoning, cooking and plating

Contract: Full time
Salary: starting from £28,000 per annum plus excellent tips
Location: Outlaw’s New Road & Fish Kitchen, Port Isaac
Normal week: 4 working days
Minimum experience required: 3 years

A unique role and opportunity to join us and be responsible for guest breakfasts as well as staff meals.

This role is suited for someone that has a passion for cooking and appreciates the value of well prepared and nourishing meals and the role they play in wellbeing. A daytime position where the main responsibilities are:

  • Prepare breakfast buffet items and cook breakfasts for guests at Outlaw’s Guest House
  • Prepare nutritious staff meals for the teams at Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen, New Road, and Guest House
  • Support pastry section in the production of baked goods and restaurant pastry
  • Support management with preparation for dish development, menus for staff days and photo shoots

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

  • A good understanding of working in professional kitchens, and a high level of organisation, cleanliness, attention to detail, and understanding of cookery
  • A highly positive attitude towards achieving daily targets and facing challenges that arise
  • A great team work ethic built around team first principles and good communication
  • At least 3 years experience working in catering
  • A high level of attention to detail and standard of preparation

Salary: starting from £27,500 per annum plus excellent tips
Location: Outlaw’s Guest House, Port Isaac
Normal week: Monday to Friday, daytime only
Minimum experience required: 3 years
