This charming Grade-II listed, 3-bedroom cottage, is bursting with character. With many of its original features restored, Kittiwake Cottage is the finest setting to immerse yourself for short or long retreats in the enchanting village of Port Isaac.

Exposed beams, sash windows, a large fireplace with log burner, only begin to paint the picture of this delightful former fisherman’s cottage dating back to the 1700s. The deceptively large, two floor cottage has interiors that evoke a sense of coastal vintage, and while the property has been completely renovated to bring the comforts of modern-day, its personality and quirks are celebrated throughout. Mind your head!

Kittiwake Annexe

A newly renovated, 1 bedroom self-contained apartment, nestled within a private courtyard, just moments from Port Isaac harbour and our restaurants.

Soak up the charm and atmosphere of this small fishing port, all from the comfort of this perfectly placed apartment in the heart of the village.

With the background sounds of the Cornish coast, this beautifully self-contained apartment comprises of 2 main rooms: A spacious, well appointed bedroom with en-suite; and a lounge complete with a modern kitchenette.

Burrowed within the charming fishing village of Port Isaac, both properties boast the perfect blend of comfort, privacy, and proximity to the harbour front, along with miles of scenic footpaths for coastal adventures.

While the properties are fully equipped for self-catering, including a complimentary first-morning hamper and stocked with the essentials, they also offer easy access to both Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen (a 30 second walk) and Outlaw’s New Road (a 10 minute walk), along with other local pubs and restaurants. Complete with a beautifully designed private courtyard, our Coastal Retreats provide an idyllic location for your getaway.

    Outlaw’s Coastal Retreat FAQs.

    Can I pay a deposit?
    Yes, to secure the booking you are required to pay a non-refundable 50% booking deposit or pay in full when booking up to 3 months before your stay. The full payment is required when booking within 3 months of your stay. Kittiwake Cottage requires a £250 breakage deposit and Kittiwake Annexe requires a £125 breakage deposit, payable upon booking. Breakage deposits will be refunded within 2 weeks of check out.

    What days can I book Kittiwake Annexe?
    Kittiwake Annexe is available all year round on a 3, 4 and 7-night basis, on the following schedule:

    Tuesday check-in 3 or 7-night stay
    Friday check-in 4 or 7-night stay

    What days can I book Kittiwake Cottage?
    Outside of peak-summer (dates listed below), Kittiwake Cottage is available to book for 3, 4 or 7 nights on the following schedule:

    Tuesday check-in 3 or 7-night stay
    Friday check-in 4 or 7-night stay.

    14th July – 25th August
    From 14th July 2023 through to Friday 25th August 2023, Kittiwake Cottage is available to book on a 7-night basis only, from Friday – Friday.

    Can I book in at Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen and/or Outlaw’s New Road?
    Absolutely, tables at our restaurants can be reserved 180 days in advance.

    Does the property have parking?
    No, parking is available in either of the two council operated car parks at the top of the village. Both car parks are a 10-minute walk down into the village, and long-stay parking is available at both. You are welcome to drive down and pull over onto the harbourside Platt, or close by, and unload luggage into Kittiwake, but please be aware the narrow streets can prove somewhat tricky to access and there is limited turning space.

    Are dogs allowed?
    Kittiwake Cottage does allow 1 dog at a time. No dogs are permitted in Kittiwake Annexe.

    Are children allowed?
    Yes, Kittiwake Cottage sleeps up to 6 persons, consisting of 2 double bedrooms and a twin room. Kittiwake Annexe is only suitable for one adult couple.

    How do I book?

    I’ve paid the deposit, how do I pay the rest of the balance?
    You will receive a reminder email within 12 weeks of your check in date. Remaining balances are due within 12 weeks of your stay. Should you miss your payment deadline, we will send a further reminder. Should you continue to miss your deadline, we will cancel the booking and we reserve the right to retain the booking deposit.

    Do I need to clean the property before I leave?
    Properties will be cleaned before and after your stay by our team, however we do ask that you leave the property in a respectable state, and either clean or load the dishwasher before departing, leaving no dirty items or rubbish behind. General waste and recycling bins are provided within the refuse area within the courtyard.

    Accessibility:
    The village and the properties themselves present challenges for those with limited mobility and/or require wheelchair access. The village centre of Port Isaac can only been accessed via steep hills and the properties themselves, being Grade-II listed come with their limitations.
